Lazy Sunday Mornings
I love lazy Sunday mornings when I can put on some good music (this week it was older Alexi Murdoch) and have a couple of cups of coffee and create! Here’s a sneak peak of the newest designs that will be hitting etsy over the next week. I have been playing around with our new HDSLR camera we got for video, practicing with photos… I may need a macro lens soon!

twelve by 2012
If you’ve been reading blogs lately, like me, you’ve been seeing this Twleve by 2012 business start to pop up everywhere. After seeing it over at oh hello friend and Miss Modish–two of my regular reads–I decided to hop on the bandwagon. We could all use a little encouragement to get some goals accomplished right!?
To participate, all you need to do is simply post a list of 12 things (or any number, really) you want to get done by December 31st, 2011. The things can be big or small… And post it on your blog.
Here are mine:
1 Get my studio cleaned up and organized for a nicer, more orderly space to work. I may try to add silversmithing into the mix, too!
2 Organize our office & bedroom & storage.
3 Work on our getting our business side of Nostalgia Film super organized, and book a few more 2012 weddings and events.
4 Editing! We have some much vacation footage, b-roll, and our own wedding on Super 8 film to edit! I may take an editing class to sharpen up my skills, too.
5 Work more with clay jewlery-making.
6 Make some terrariums!
7 Increase my stock for SoCoDivka Designs. It’s been the first things getting the shift when things get too crazy, and I want to have more time in my life to relax and create! This also leads toward saying “no” more, but I will blog that another day.
8 Work on setting up a little photo studio with some better lighting for product photos and learn how to better use our Panasonic Lumix HD DSLR.
9 Work on launching Austin Wedding Party for 2012!
10 Clean up my web designs for this site and my personal website.
11 Get the shed in our back yard built!
12 Continue to eat well, exercise, and lose some lbs. (shooting for about 25 by 2012 if I manage 2 a week, but we’ll see!)
