Today on The Etsy Blog, Get the Look Decor: Welcome to the Jungalow, I found a divine piece of baby room inspiration. I am loving Justina Blakeney’s nursery design–it mixes just the right amount of whimsy and magic and is sweetly eclectic:
While we’re at the very early stages of a renovation (to all be finished by November!?), I’m beginning with clearing out my ol’ craft room/office/jewelry studio. We did just make our first major baby room purchase… This modern, gray Hudson Babyletto crib:

Followed by this sweet bed canopy:
And a while ago, I’d found this ’50s vintage paint-by-numbers collie, that made me so nostalgic for my own childhood (it reminded me of happy times at my grandmother’s house), that I had to snatch it up to look over and protect our little one. (I hope he or she loves dogs as much as we do! Ours will be so excited to meet him or her!)
And finally, I just found these gray chevron curtains…
I hope it will all come together with a blend of modernism, retro mid-century design, and eclectic touches. I’ll continue to share as our little one’s new space evolves! (And soon, we’ll know if a little girl or a little boy will be joining us!)
As I continue downsizing my crafting space and jewelry studio to make room for baby, check out my 50% off studio clearance sale!
